One filmmaker we've had our eyes on for quite some time around these parts is Rue Morgue President Rodrigo Gudino, and he dropped us a line today with an update on the worldwide tour he and three of his short films went on this Halloween season.
As Gudino tells us, "'The Facts in the Case of Mister Hollow' (review here), 'The Demonology of Desire', and 'The Eyes of Edward James' had screenings in South Africa, Las Vegas, Georgia, Texas, and Boston. Along the way the films managed to create a stir and even snag a few awards.
Philip Nutman, programmer for Atlanta's Buried Alive! Film Fest writes 'The Demonology of Desire' (review here) 'was a big hit both with the audience and the jury, who had a meltdown over the film.' The end result was that the festival established a new awards category...
