The Richardson-Olmsted Campus is the former home of the Buffalo State Hospital Psychiatric Center.
The Richardson Olmsted Complex is one of the few remaining architectural examples of the Thomas Kirkbride Plan in the Northeast United States. It is known as a "Kirkbride Asylum" style building featuring the iconic bat wing style series of ward buildings.
