teens story
Kirpianuscus25 October 2021
A film with teens , about eccentric hobies, cemetery and afterlife, a boyfriend in religious trainment and a box to easy opened by evil spirit. All - more than familiar but nice. Short, a not so bad salad.

This was like an adult parody of an adult parody of an Asylum horror movie... minus the adult stuff.

I mean... I know it is a student short and all, so the expectations were near the rock bottom anyways, but Nancy, you really had to make the most unfunny, cliché story imaginable with the lead character being as annoying as stepping on a lego right after you hit your little toe in the corner of a table? I guess we all have different image of a cool, strong and quirky female protagonist. And that cemetery fight with the ""world ending demon""... Jesus Christ, I cringed so hard I almost fell out of my chair. The remote control ghost! The ugly CGI soul suction! And the Golden Raspberry Award-worthy acting! What were you thinking when you filmed that? I'm honestly curious! You imagined the audience banging their heads against the wall with laughter, or what? I barely survived the weapons expert parts with those cheep, plastic ghost-hunting rifles, for crying out loud! And then, when we're just trying to catch our breathe, you attacking our sanity with this stupidity? Also, we really needed that "the next morning scene", since we were sooo invested in the crappy and superficial relationship of those two, I couldn't have slept at night without knowing that she broke up with the guy because of some silly vague reason, and not the other way around. Damn, the future is bright for the movie industry with bright stars like these ones!

Oh, but wait, it's a parody! Then we automatically forgive every roaring mistake and ridiculously amateur nonsense because they just wanted to make a joke out of the genre's mistakes! Comedy, right guys? Right?!

Wow, you are so clever...
