If you just cut the Lauren character out, who is absolutely insufferable, it would not have been a bad episode. But having her at the forefront both in the work setting and then getting involved the personal lives was just way too much.
This show did not attempt to fully wrap up the love triangle in one episode which was smart, but it is also a little tiring to have the same Liza/Josh/Charles nonsense again and again. Hopefully they find some refreshing storylines not just for Liza but for the rest of the supporting cast in the final season.
Not a bad start, but I hope for a bit more from a comedy standpoint, and from a storytelling standpoint moving forward.
