A picture-feature in three reels that is acted considerably better than the average. The plot is commercial and made to utilize the power of a little contortionist to hide himself in unexpected places. At one time, he startles a laugh out of the unsuspecting audience. Yet the story is never dry and most of it is highly entertaining. It has been carefully directed and the action is full of suspense. The camera work is commendable and the lighting often helps the dramatic quality of the scenes. The whole is a pretty good offering. - The Moving Picture World, July 11, 1914
