- A man makes a bet that for $100 he can have sex with a woman by morning.
- A man makes a suggestive remark to a woman about being able to "hit the spot."
- Remarks are made about fire hoses when a woman goes into a locker room and sees a nude man showering.

- A man talks about a "chick-o-meter" that he uses to rate women.

- While this movie is an American remake of the spanish film "REC" it's not nearly as scary or bloody as that film
- The film maintains a very strong sense of terror throughout, as characters are chased by zombies. The confined space in which the film is set heightens the terror; and the documentary-style adds realism and immediacy to the threat.
- Many jump scenes throughout the second two-thirds of the movie.
- Quarantine gets more intense throughout the movie.
- The ending it's entirely in night vision, very intense and suspenseful.

Violence & Gore
- A rat races toward a man's foot and is stomped to death. The scene is graphic and disturbing.
- A infected man walks out of a room with a very injured leg, you can see the bones and bloody flesh.
- People get bitten by the infected, some of these scenes are graphic as you can see the meat pulled off of the botten people.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A child can be seen biting off a piece of her mother's neck, then savagely attacking other characters while covered in blood.
