- Julie camps out in the playing fields. Arnie and Dill find someone living in the Boiler Room. Kevin unwittingly takes one of Anna's LSD tabs. Later, he starts to be affected, runs out of class and climbs over the balcony...
- Dill and Arnie rope Sam into the business of Anna, but Colin's determined to get in on the action too. They can't get any privacy in the playground so they enter the Boiler Room and talk there. They find evidence that someone has been recently staying there - remains of food, some candles and a sleeping bag - could it be Anna's stuff? They hide in the toilets and wait till school closes, so they can catch whoever is staying. There is a surprise visitor - Colin! After a while, they trot out for some drinks, but whoever was staying has removed their stuff by the time they return. Outside, there's a strange sight on the playing fields - hundreds of candles alight. A torch shines in their faces - but it's just an angry Julie Corrigan, raising her road widening protest a notch by camping in the playing fields. Becky and Robyn turn up, laughing at Julie's protest, but they have brought food for everyone to share. Arnie thinks that the presence of Julie explains the items found in the boiler room - but Julie claims no knowledge of the baked beans can they found. The next day, Mr. Robson is not at all pleased to find Julie's tent in the way of a football game. A compromise is reached - and Julie's tent is moved to one side. Julie seems determined to stay put, however it rains heavily the following night, and the tent proves not to be watertight. The next morning, Dill is parking her bike when Anna's sheet of tabs falls off the roof in front of her. Kevin rides up and parks, happy in his new independent method of travelling to school. He notices the tabs, and explains that they are fake tattoos. He licks one, putting it on Dill's arm, then puts another tab in his mouth, but is interrupted by Mr. Parrott, and swallows it. Becky chairs a meeting to discuss fund raising. Colin's suggestion of marathon bingo is accepted, and so is Lauren's idea of Year 10 vs Year 12 rugby - for the girls. Meanwhile, in Maths, Kevin starts behaving strangely, as the acid on his tab kicks in. At first he giggles uncontrollably, then when Mr. Parrott talks to him, asking him to solve a problem, he backs away, then loses his temper, and runs off. Meanwhile, Mr. Brisley has become suspicious of Dill's painting of LSD tabs and, thinking she might be taking drugs, talks to Mr. Robson about its effects. Kevin rampages out onto the balcony, where he bumps into Rachel. He becomes agitated, moving away from her, and steps over the edge of the railing, hanging on, while Mr. Parrott looks up in horror...—Geffers
