Kayden Kross teams up with porn's Tattoo queen Joanna Angel for this pair of dark dramas, each presented as two-parters
First half of the DVD is a somewhat different take on the influential H-G Clouzot classic suspense film "Diabolique", a wonderful Art House favorite in the 1950s. Kayden's spin on its familiar Boileau/Narcejac story has Nicole Aniston accused of murdering her husband Mick Blue, even though she has an interesting alibi: many customers of her webcam broadcast were watching her give a live sex performance (interactive) at the time of the murder.
Her accused accomplice is Small Hands, one of Mick's employees who is also suspected of having an affair with Aniston. Angela White is terrific as the intrepid police inspector grilling the suspects (and doing other things) in the interrogation room at police headquarters.
Beginning with Angela's deep, deep decolletage as she cooly but forcefully asks questions, this is a riveting sex drama with a wonderful surprise ending, different enough in content from the original to be fresh.
Second half of the video is titled "Valley of the F*ck Dolls", with a logo imitating the campy Sharon Tate movie of yore. Only the title is derivative, as its story is about beautiful but naive Aidra Fox drawn into a world of bondage when she receives a mysterious key from waitress Joanna Angel after her dramatic split at dinner with her lover Manuel Ferrara when he informs her he's married.
First part of this kinky peek at the world of folks who dress up in latex, covering their faces with latex masks or gas masks, brings back Small Hands in a different role as a customer at the Dolls private club run by madam Kayden Kross, where he dallies with Angel and svelte fellow sub/sex worker Evelyn Claire.
In the second half Aidra uses her key to gain admittance to the club but as a new worker rather than a client, with Kayden as the madam. Joanna & Kayden have concocted a couple of wonderful plot twists that make this bdsm excursion interesting beyond its surface kinkiness.
