- Boobs jigle all the time but nothing too bad.
- Many females wear skin-tight and slightly skimpy outfits, but Catwoman wears an outfit that shows full on cleavage.
- Characters flirt and make innuendos.
- The characters' clothing can have small rips during fights, however this never reveals anything.
Violence & Gore

- Punches and kicks are shown. Little blood.
- There are brutal finishers but nothing compared to the next games
- Note that this games is a teen rating and not r rated.
- Scorpion can rip his face off then burn the other fighter with his skull, not as bad as the Mk1 version.
- Sub Zero can turn people into ice then smash then.
- Sonya can blow a kiss at someone which bruns them whole.
- Sonya can snap the other fighters neck but very mild.
- Blood spray when people are hit.
- The fatalities are mostly tame compared to other MK games. Most are off screen but their are brutal sound effects with clear implications.
- Heads are chopped off off screen. The slice and blood falling can be heard. One instance is shown as a shadow. No blood or gore.
