This show was so-so in the first season, but this episode definitely stepped things up in a big way and got me excited for the rest of the season. As a wrestling fan I was extremely excited to see that included in a key plot device, I was not expecting it at all, but it was good to see.
The laughs are still there, but unlike a lot of comedies out there they still seem committed to good storytelling too.
There are some flaws in the show for sure, but it is a lot of laughs and a refreshing setting as we don't get many shows about churches on TV. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season plays out, but this was a quality start.
