Probably not what Disney was going for but this episode showed how the cancel culture hurts people, in this case their own high school girls basketball team. I would think being an all girls school, they would know how little people care. Maybe HS girls really don't think about the consequences of their actions. It would have been nice if they could have shown the repercussions, like all the businesses in Georgia suffered from pulling the MLB All-Star game, but at least they did show how a girl was being shamed just for having the same last name as her father.

Marvin showed his real love for the team, fought in every way to protect not only Louise, but the team from warnings caused by others. It was nice to see the Mediator agree with Marvin and thus show his support to the student as well, what the father did is his problem and the school at this moment has to protect the student and not the financial interests. What a crazy bet and how good it is to break this winning streak against a school. Holly did the right changed the tactics and the team managed to turn around, the former coach was jealous to see Holly win and thus take this victory that she took for granted. Can it be said that we already know the drama of the Season Finale? The scout said something that arouses a fear.

This episode has been the best so far, the pace and feel was different, it was a lot better. All of the drama in the episode from the boycott of the game, to the protest outside the gym, to all the drama that happened during the game was all great. Another thing I liked was that the game took up almost the entire episode. I really hope the rest of the season is just like this.
