Paulie made this episode unwatchable. He was unbelievably over the top the whole episode.

This was my least favorite episode in a long time simply because the character Paulie was over the top annoying from start to finish! Sappy character with horrible acting made me anxious for episode to be over! I can't remember an episode I seriously debated not finishing?!

Orange Man Bad, Human Trafficking Good.

This episode was a pro open borders, America sucks and always has story. I've watched every episode of this reboot. And despite the sub par acting and cheesy stories, I have enjoyed the series. Mostly because of the Hawaiian scenery and the chemistry between Magnum and Higgins. I only wish they would have avoided the political preaching that was this particular story line, with even worse performances delivered by secondary characters and the over the top guest star. Simply awful!

Was wondering when the show would go total liberal politics

Magnum PI is the only series I watch during the week. I was wondering how long it would take till the show went totally liberal fake news politics. They went overboard on this episode. Hard for Muslim refugees to gain entrance into the US? Really? Only in liberal alternate reality dimension is that true. I'm done watching. So disappointed. Good bye Magnum and CBS. I predict this will be the last season for this show if it even makes it to the end of this season. Seriously, do these liberal producers really think liberals are watching this show? Chase off the conservatives, who are its only viewers, and CBS is left without an audience.

There are many times when I try really hard to find reasons to keep watching this show. Maybe its just a guilty pleasure... I dunno.

This ep though was just bad. Bad story, bad characters and bad acting.... Too much politics, not enough actual story.

I will call this episode strike 1 on pushing a political message I do not agree with, maybe an issue I oppose. They will get two more strikes and I am gone. Naturally they have every right to follow this kind of path. I not saying they have to stop. Just letting them know what I will do. Illegal is illegal.

I don't watch these shows to get clubbed over the head with political messaging

Very heavy handed, story line addressing illegal immigrants and child immigration and detention. I gave up on this episode just past half way. I hope the political messaging does not become a trend. If it does you will quickly lose this viewer.

Off the rails

Lets leave all the political stuff out for just a minute and focus on the characters as soldiers and Higgy as MI 6. A male child abducted by ISIS or HAMAS or the Taliban ( you get the point) at about 10 years old and held for 6+ years. The chances this kid would have been indoctrinated would be exceedingly high. EVERY character on the show would know that. They would also know that this makes this 16 yo guy a HUGE risk to national security. It's idiotic to think they would just gloss that over. That alone makes this episode terrible. Add in the rest of the woke BS and you have a big audience Blue Falcon on your hands. Bad...just bad.

Never thought I'd HATE a Magnum Episode

Like many others here, this episode is on my never watch again list. It went all political and far left, when Magnum has usually been a center-right character. The helping of the kid was ok, but the ICE bashing was unwarranted and just plain stupid. Can you tell I have friends that work for ICE? Another episode like this off the reservation and they have lost me.

I was so disappointed to see this political hack job. To make ICE agents something to fear and avoid, appear actually Evil for protecting our borders!?! This was a slam on US immigration policy, and if they go full bore liberal again, I'm finished with this show. Don't they realize that this show appeals to conservatives more than liberals?? With all the military references and guns, this is not gonna draw the snowflakes. This type of left wing propaganda will kill the show. I'm perfectly happy when TV shows stay politically neutral, I don't want the political opinions of the out of touch Hollywood crowd. This doesn't play well in "flyover country".

Stopped watching in the middle. Why can't I give it zero?

This was the first episode I've watched so I don't know if this is typical but ICE was portrayed as the "bad guys" and at no time was figuring out a legal way to bring the kid into the country ever considered.
