I just watched the restoration of the 1961movie . It's sharp, clear, and the music is nicely fitting.I loved the original movie and enjoyed it just as much this time. The acting is excellent all around; the dialogue is also fine; the plot is wonderful and the movie is suspenseful. There are also some humorous moments, and there are some excellent anti-war comments and remarks about the responsibility of leadership Younger-than- I viewers who are unfamiliar with the stars of this movie, should watch it if for no other reason than to see why they were stars of their era—-though I think it's one of David Niven's better roles. I didn't care for many of his other roles, (in romantic comedies)
