Leaves the audience in good humor
deickemeyer9 December 2015
A comedy that holds the interest and leaves the audience in good humor. The elopement in an aeroplane and the succeeding race with the automobile suggest interesting modern possibilities. But the father is just as irate as fathers used to be when they followed eloping couples on horseback or in wagons. The doctor's hurried trip, accompanied by the stork is an interesting bit of work which amuses, while conveying some touch of excitement. And then at the end, when the father discovers that the stork carried a double burden his rueful countenance affords a good reason for a hearty laugh. The mechanical portion of this production has been worked out with care and close attention to details and in most of the scenes the photography is good. - The Moving Picture World, March 23, 1911
