What was the point of this other than to fill a two hour (two hours!) slot in the run up to Christmas.
This was dire, not that the programme normally isn't.
The contestants (poor bunch) waddle out onto the ice, tell Phil and Holly how nervous they are, and then disappear. That pretty much was the format all night.
A waste of time.
