Strong human acting
deickemeyer16 December 2017
We reviewed this picture several months ago when Lubin players first produced it. It is a story of a girl who is, in the picture's end (so it seems in truth), if not commended, at least not blamed for stealing to send her consumptive brother out West. The picture we commended in the first instance for its strong human acting, which relieved it of much of its unpleasant taste. - The Moving Picture World, November 1, 1913
