- Some playable characters are flirty towards the player, a non-playable character says a lot of sexual innuendos.
- One of the characters' elemental burst involves her pulling her sword from her breasts, and she does the same when you must fight her.

- One character is 21 years old and owns a winery and a tavern.
- One character is a 12 year old bartender.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is constant fighting, and with some enemies they sneak up on you, so you may be startled.
- Some enemies surrender and beg for mercy when defeated. This is mildly emotional.
- In the Inazuma story quest, Radien Shogun tries to kill you from the behind. Shogun and her sword is made to look very big and the traveller and paimon look very small. This is a possible reference to One Punch Man. It is very unexpected and may scare people with a weak heart.
- In the 2.3 event Shadows Amidst Snowstorms, which gives us a little lore and backstory on one of the playable characters, one of the cut scenes contains this character walking along a path while expressing his feelings about wanting to end the human race, and taking the traveler (AKA you) with them. He says it as a casual thing, making it sound very creepy. In this same event, the character is shown stabbing another straight through the stomach with their sword.
- A villain in the game performs cruel experiments on people, and one of his past subjects is a free playable character. She mentions what happened in the game several times. This is shown when a character approaches her and says something jokingly and she screams at them, traumatized from past events. This may be scary or even emotional to people who have been through similar events or children.
- A playable character in the game relays the backstory of his and his twin sister's past, which mentions child/sex trafficking and pedophilia. This can be extremely upsetting and emotional to those who have gone through similar events or even just hearing about it.
- A Playable Character mistakes Paimon as a delicious creature in one of the quests.. since Paimon has human like features, it could be considered cannibalism, luckily Paimon defends herself even if the Traveler decides to join in the fun.
