Bonnie Plunkett : More like running, hiding, living under fake names. It was like Thelma & Louise except that Louise was 6 and Thelma was always drunk and forgetting where she put Louise.
Bonnie Plunkett : [looks out the window and sees Cookie smoking, gasps] Tammy's kidney is smoking!
Tammy Diffendorf : [after Cookie's body rejects her kidney] I'm so mad at myself, and at her...

Bonnie Plunkett : Well that's natural.

Tammy Diffendorf : And you!

Bonnie Plunkett : Why me?

Tammy Diffendorf : For being right!

Bonnie Plunkett : Oh well that's okay.

Tammy Diffendorf : But mostly I'm angry at myself.
Bonnie Plunkett : [sharing at AA] You know how in here, we say if someone's behavior annoys you, it's because it's a reflection of your own behavior? Well there's some truth in that. Back in the day, I made a lot of promises to people, and at the time I had every intention of keeping them, it's not that I lied, my therapist said it's because I'm a narcissist, which I think is a mean thing to say about someone who just gets caught up in the moment a lot.

[looks at Tammy]

Bonnie Plunkett : But it would be crazy for the person I hurt to blame themselves for it, because it absolutely has nothing to do with them.
