"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" lives up to its title by placing a lot of focus on the clone troopers themselves. Some of the characters, like Commander Cody and Commander Bly, were inherited from the "Star Wars" prequel films. The show used the idea that clones had nicknames (instead of only serial numbers) and ran with it, creating many other clones -- including Captain Rex -- with custom names and armor to convey individuality.
One of the more striking clone looks is Commander Doom, who appears only briefly in the "Clone Wars" season 6 premiere "The Unknown." That name isn't an accident; the "Star Wars" website confirms that the creators named Doom after Marvel Comics villain Doctor Victor Von Doom. While Commander Doom gets too little screen time to see if he has the ego of his namesake, the creators used Doctor Doom's design to color his armor.

The X-Men are waiting in the wings to make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with a project being in active development, and Mister Sinister being rumored to be the villain for the first phase for the mutants. However, Marvel will require some smaller-scale villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to build up to the big bad, and X-Men ’97 might have just given the MCU its first mutant villain.

Fans are truly excited about the MCU’s efforts to bring back the X-Men, anticipating an epic journey ahead. It is now no secret that Marvel Studios has been diligently searching for the right writer to spearhead the X-Men movie script, with recent reports confirming that they’ve narrowed it down to two final candidates.

However, fans find it somewhat peculiar that despite the recent surge in popularity of the X-Men ’97 animated series, Kevin Feige is not considering hiring that team for the movie, and they are not shy to vocalize their concerns, to say the least.

Stephen Amell’s performance within the Arrowverse is one that is regarded by many to be a fan favorite. He is much loved because of the same. How much Marvel is too much? That question has hung over the MCU for more than five years, since Avengers: Endgame gave viewers an easy jumping off point. In that time, Marvel has released 25 movies, TV series, and specials, few of them pleasing all but the most committed fans.
It’s no surprise that, since he came back as Disney’s CEO, Bob Iger has talked several times about reducing MCU output. He hasn’t offered much in the way of specifics until now, but that still raises questions about the franchise’s future success.

There have been rumblings for several years now that Marvel Studios is developing a Midnight Suns movie revolving around the McU's supernatural heroes.
It may have taken a big step forward recently, however, as scooper @MyTimeToShineH is claiming that Kevin Feige is keen on filmmaker Fede Álvarez taking the helm of the project.
He's no stranger to horror after directing Evil Dead, Don't Breathe, and the upcoming Alien: Romulus. He also wrote Don't Breathe 2 and penned the story for 2022's Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Given the positive buzz surrounding the next Alien movie, this rumour makes a lot of sense.
Interestingly, Werewolf by Night director and regular MCU composer Michael Giacchino is also said to be an option after his impressive work with the Marvel Studios Special Presentation.

Spider-Man 4 is a film that a lot of fans are looking forward to, especially after where No Way Home left Peter Parker. He was wiped from the memory of everyone who knew him, leaving him without any friends or family. This Peter Parker essentially had to start from scratch, and will probably be rubbing shoulders with street-level vigilantes like Daredevil and The Punisher, before he gets to become a part of anything like the Avengers.

In March 2019, Marvel Studios regained the film rights to X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool after Disney acquired Fox for $71.3 billion.
These characters are set to be incorporated into the MCU. In October 2020, the ‘X-Men’ and ‘Fantastic Four’ films were labeled as “Marvel Legacy films” on Disney+. Notably, Patrick Stewart reprised his role as an alternate Professor X in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ and Kelsey Grammer returned as Beast in ‘The Marvels.’ ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ will bring Deadpool and Wolverine, played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, respectively, into the MCU continuity. As time passes, it becomes more evident that we are approaching the reboot. Therefore, we’ve compiled everything we know so far.
The studio is said to be seeking a mix of drama and comedy
Very little is known about the upcoming project’s plot, but the studio has recently ramped up its search for a writer.

The recent trailer for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has revealed a lot, from nods to comic storylines to numerous cameos expected in the film.
In the movie, Deadpool is recruited by the Tva to prevent his reality from falling apart, prompting him to return to crime-fighting. He tries to persuade Wolverine to join him, but it seems Wolverine is not keen, as shown in the trailer. The film will introduce Cassandra Nova as the main villain of the MCU and will continue the Multiversal Theme of the MCU.
Given the overwhelmingly positive reactions to both the first and second trailers, many fans were taken aback by the news that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is undergoing last-minute reshoots. Naturally, this raised concerns among fans, but such occurrences are quite common, especially so close to the release date. It doesn’t necessarily indicate any major changes to the story being made.

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ is widely seen as the weakest of Thor’s solo films in the MCU. Directed by Taika Waititi, it took a campy approach to Thor and his foe Gorr the God Butcher. This marked a significant departure from the more successful ‘Thor: Ragnarok.’
Chris Hemsworth admitted in an interview with Vanity Fair that he holds himself responsible for the movie’s shortcomings, regretting his role in mocking a beloved character.
Chris Hemsworth recognized that Marvel fans should get another ‘Thor’ movie after the letdown of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ in 2022. He had admitted before that the fourth movie was “too silly,” and it still weighs on him.
I got caught up in the improv and the wackiness, and I became a parody of myself. I didn’t stick the landing.
Hemsworth also confessed that he always felt his co-stars in the ‘Avengers’ movies had much cooler things to do.

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ is by far and wide accepted as the worst release in Thor’s standalone series in the MCU. Directed by Taika Waititi, the movie was a campy take on both Thor and one of his most notorious villains – Gorr the God Butcher.
It was definitely a drastic shift from ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ which is considered one of the best installments in the series. Now talking to Vanity Fair, Chris Hemsworth himself noted that he blames himself for the failure of the movie, and blames himself for accepting to ridicule such a well-established character.
Chris Hemsworth acknowledged that Marvel fans deserve another ‘Thor’ movie following the perceived disappointment of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ in 2022. He previously admitted that the fourth installment was ‘too silly,’ and this criticism seems to linger for him.

According to the origin of Marvel’s Thor, the All-Father Odin sends his son to Earth to learn humility. It sounds like Thor actor Chris Hemsworth has had to do the same thing.
Hemsworth’s Thor was riding high going into 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder, following 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, which won over fans who dismissed his first two solo outings, as well as the strong emotional arc in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. But for many, Love and Thunder pushed the wacky sensibilities of writer/director Taika Waititi too far, resulting in a movie too glib to be funny. And Hemsworth agrees.
“I got caught up in the improv and the wackiness, and I became a parody of myself,” the Aussie actor recently admitted to Vanity Fair. “I didn’t stick the landing.”
It’s easy to see why Hemsworth leaned so far into Waititi’s style for Love and Thunder.

Hideo Kojima, as far as video games are concerned, is no less than an auteur and legend in the field. Each of his video games is more of an experience filled with nuanced themes and lessons ranging from philosophy to warfare. The MCU has faced some tough times lately, with many big movies not doing well and even breaking some bad records. A lot of the new stuff coming up gets trashed on social media before it even comes out.
Take ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ for example. There’s a chunk of fans who just won’t accept Sam Wilson as Captain America, even though Steve Rogers got a good ending to his story.
However, most fans are pretty pumped about the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and ‘Secret Wars.’ A big reason is the possibility of different versions of characters. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is already buzzing with talk of 25 cameos and variants, and ‘Secret Wars’ is expected to double that once the media blitz kicks in. Marvel’s well aware of the hype, which is why they dropped an official reference to it during CinemaCon. In one scene, Deadpool starts...

MCU has been on sort of a downward spiral recently, with several of its biggest productions failing, setting unflattering records. Most of the upcoming productions also get negative feedback on social media even before they are released.

Almost the entire fandom is however excited about the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and ‘Secret Wars,’ mostly due to hope fueled by the concept of variants. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ already has 25 rumored & confirmed cameos and variants, and ‘Secret Wars,’ when the media coverage of the movie starts to the fullest, will easily have double that. Doctor Strange director, Scott Derrickson, is known for two things: horror and Marvel. His epic vision and style shine through in films like Sinister and The Day the Earth Stood Still. And yet, fans weep over the scandal-ridden production of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness.
An IP that should have remained in the hands of Derrickson, the changing of the old guard to bring in Sam Raimi was a decision praised by many. However, with time, regrets surface, and missed opportunities are realized as fans grasp the true scale of Scott Derrickson’s vision.

Sam Raimi found great success with the ‘Spider-Man’ film trilogy, each installment grossing over $800 million worldwide. However, plans for further sequels were halted due to script issues. Disappointed with ‘Spider-Man 3,’ Raimi aimed to redeem the franchise with ‘Spider-Man 4,’ which unfortunately never came to fruition. In 2022, he expressed regret about not ending the series on a high note.
Despite this, Raimi’s involvement with Spider-Man continued as he and Marc Webb served as creative consultants for Marvel Studios’ ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ directed by Jon Watts. Recently, rumors have circulated about Raimi directing ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ the highly anticipated installment in the ‘Avengers’ franchise.
Recently, Raimi stated his desire to direct the final Phase 6 movie, but unfortunately, the studio hasn’t approached him yet.
I love 90% of the Marvel heroes that I’ve read in the great Stan Lee Marvel Universe comic books. I would love to work with Marvel again.

Before his career went down the rabbit hole of utter destruction and Jonathan Majors was redacted from the industry’s hotlist of prime actors, Marvel felt blessed to score an actor who could pull off one of the biggest and most mysterious roles assigned in its long and illustrious history.
Despite the novelty of playing the next Big Bad of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jonathan Majors had been very methodical and studious in his role as Kang. With a fine debut in Loki, Majors created an aura of as much adoration and praise as was deserving of an actor of his caliber.

MCU has quite a lot of projects to release in 2024, 2025, and beyond. We know that there are several movies being worked on currently and affected by the strikes, but none of them are as anticipated as ‘Avengers 5’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ which are expected to continue MCU’s tradition of majestic crossovers.
Just like in the case of ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame,’ these two movies will also be released only a year apart from each other, but the difference is that this time, they won’t be filmed back-to-back and they’ll be developed by two separate teams of writers and directors.
Next to nothing is known about the director ‘Secret Wars,’ and the most recent rumors mentioned Sam Raimi as the prime candidate although Raimi himself debunked the rumors awhile back, claiming that the studio hasn’t asked him yet. While we don’t have any official info we can always drop names,...

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the hottest upcoming MCU release for a few good reasons. The movie is rumored to include many cameos and variants, marking Deadpool’s first appearance in the MCU and Hugh Jackman’s return from Wolverine retirement. There are also rumors that it will lead into ‘Secret Wars,’ but we’re taking this with a grain of salt.
One of the persistent rumors among these cameos and variants is Taylor Swift appearing in the movie as Dazzler. This rumor traces back at least a year to notable scoopers and leakers. It’s especially convincing when you take into account that Reynolds is a huge fan of Swift, and his better half, Blake Lively, is good friends with the artist.
Now, some fans believe that Swift may have hinted at (or confirmed) her cameo in the movie as Dazzler through her latest lyrics.

Wanda’s journey in the MCU has been complex. She began as a villain, transitioned into a hero, faced tragedy, experienced loss, briefly returned to villainy, and then reclaimed a heroic mantle by destroying the Darkhold and seemingly sacrificing herself.
The conclusion of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ left her fate uncertain. Official statements haven’t clarified whether Wanda is still alive within the MCU.
Many fans, myself included, think that mere collapsing debris wouldn’t pose a significant threat to a Nexus being with such vast Multiversal potential. After all, we’ve seen Wanda endure far worse, so her return seems likely. Lately, there have been rumors suggesting she might get her own standalone movie. Even if that doesn’t materialize, there are several projects where her return would make perfect sense.

Recently, director Shawn Levy and Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige were at CinemaCon, where an almost 10-minute long footage from the movie was shown. And to the surprise of many, an Og Avenger made the trip to Deadpool land.

About over 30 projects are currently in development when it comes to MCU, slated for release in the next two years, with ‘Thor 5’ among them, according to increasingly loud whispers. Recently, Taika Waititi addressed the possibility of directing the fifth installment of the God of Thunder’s saga in the MCU, casually brushing it off, indicating it’s not on his current agenda.
Fans breathed a collective sigh of relief at his statement. ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is widely regarded as the franchise’s pinnacle, with Taika masterfully blending humor and depth. However, some fans feel that ‘Love & Thunder’ veered off course during development. The film seemed to go overboard on many fronts, lacking a cohesive narrative and landing some jokes in questionable taste, leading to a perception of it being more of a parody than a serious superhero film.
It appears that the studio has taken note of the feedback from ‘Love & Thunder.

There are over 30 projects rumored to be in development and scheduled to be released sometime in the next two years, and ‘Thor 5’ is one of them, at least according to the rumors that are getting louder and louder. Recently, Taika Waititi commented on the possibility of him helming the fifth God of Thunder movie in the MCU, and he shrugged it off, saying that it’s really not on his schedule at the moment.
With this statement, fans collectively sighed in relief. ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is according to many fans considered to be the best installment in the franchise, Taika perfectly juggled the humor and somber tones of the movie, and then something happened during the development of ‘Love & Thunder.’ The movie went overboard with pretty much everything except for the good story, some jokes landed in bad taste with the movie more considered to be a parody take on the...

Although next to nothing was known about the projects, we do know that Kang the Conqueror was expected to take over from Thanos as the main villain of the Multiverse Saga; however, soon after the release of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ it became clear that the audience did not react to the new villain accordingly. Jonathan Majors, who was playing Kang and all of his variants, also got into some legal troubles and was promptly fired.
Following this turn of events, various theories started developing, that following Majors’ dismissal the “true” villain of the MCU would be revealed in ‘Secret Wars.
