This was one for the books. Wholly unexpected poignancy in the end from a typically absurd show. Althrough for the majority of the episode it kept some of traditional aspects in play (i.e the elbow grease). I appreciate how experimental it was, showcases the range in artistic value of the project as a whole. Here's hoping for a second season.

The writers and the Debras proved there's more to them than just absurdity. This episode was very well done and the emotions involved were handled beautifully.

The ending was telling of their relationship with each other and was unexpectedly serious and emotional. This season finale would make for an excellent series finale if it isn't renewed. Knock on wood though, mama wants season 2 and a happier end. I don't like the thought that the Debras are trapped where they are, all for one reason or another.
