Dave Filoni Confirms Why George Lucas Is Still The Standard That Disney Should Be Striving For
filmbuff19744 July 2020
Episode 2: Legacy and Dave Filoni made clear on the down low that he only considers the first six films as Star Wars and not Kathleen Kennedy's abominations. The novice directors had enough sense to keep quiet and listen to a master storyteller break down George Lucas's legacy.

I love the love for George Lucas and the prequel trilogy, you can tell that Kennedy wasn't on board with that talk. Thank heavens for these passionate and talented filmmakers who are saving star wars after the hot mess that Kennedy created with the sequel trilogy. I can't wait to see what Deborah Chow has in store for us with Obi-Wan, I just hope Kennedy didn't ruin it.

That 10 minute speak from Dave filoni in the end is amazing man. When you start to realize the story from Lucas's point of view that's the point where you start to understand Star Wars mythology.

Beautiful, Dave gets it!

Funny how there is no mention of the sequels because we all know that is not Star Wars.
