Warning: Spoilers
A little bit of an unorganized episode. We are shown some more victims of the Epstein and are introduced the island. While I understand that the voices of the victims are important, it feels repetitive to introduce more victims at this point in the narrative of the documentary. Episode two was fresh in that sense because it focused on his conviction and law enforcement. I feel like this episode could have been used to look deeper into his associates and what their relationships were like. Or how exactly were these privileges that Epstein enjoyed happened. But this criticism is not warranted until I watch the final episode and see how they all tie it up. I am impressed by the ensemble of people they were able to bring on for the documentary, such as the electrician on the island. But I understand that they wanted to tread this lightly because this was released after his death and if the documentary made new accusations apart from the accusations that Epstein's already faced, they are fighting against shadows and 'conspiracies', which is a challenge on its own. I also feel that the other criticisms that exist against this documentary is slightly unfair because this was already a highly publicized case even before this documentary existed unlike many other documentaries where people come into the case blind. So unless you are providing the viewers with some new and provoking content, it lends itself to more room for criticism.
