Publicity for the Sky Movies 007 HD Launch on 5th October 2012 stated that it was the ''first time in UK history all the Bond films will be available to enjoy in one place, in HD, on demand and without ad breaks''.
The Sky Movies 007 HD logo featured the traditional 007 gun logo branding from the James Bond film franchise. This was the first time that an emblem has been incorporated into a Sky channel brand.
Visual Effects techniques featured in this ident include CGI, 2D graphics, 3D graphics, as well as live footage and an elements shoot.
VFX Supervisor Carsten Keller said: "This was an amazing project to work on, from creating a new Bond ident, to collaborating so closely with such a talented director [John Sunter]. John set the bar high by presenting us with some outstanding graphic storyboards from the outset. We're really pleased with the result."
