major disappointment

I'm sorry to say I was very very disappointed with this series. I have so far watched 4 episodes and yet to see any of the storm chasers actually catch any tornado footage. I can understand that by the very nature of the task, it is very hit and miss but still...

Add to that the annoying chasers, one pair in particular stand out: Doug Kiesling (who is rude most of the time) and Phil Seidenberg (who appears to have a few screws loose).

There is some footage of hail, lots of lightning strikes and some old footage of tornadoes - which is impressive.

But on the whole, very very disappointing, I'm afraid.

Beau saves the show

The best thing about this show is beau. His combination of tornado rasslin and a rugged Minnesotan accent really put this series on a next level. I really hope they bring it back for a renunion show so we can see Beau back in action.

Purely Unsatisfying

Warning: Spoilers
I randomly found this series and to be honest from the very beginning of episode one I kept thinking about how this series was like one of those TV shows you see on cable networks where just about everything about it is fake and you already know that it is. The characters, the plot, the tension and drama and even the acting just seems so forced and fake to no end.

Six episodes of forced tension building without a tornado caught by any of the storm chasers, only to end the series with a hurricane chase of Gustav? I thought this was called "Tornado Road?" not just plain severe weather. Gimme a break.

The Kiesling and Seidenberg pair: you already knew what would happen with them. The couple in love: Again, you knew what would happen with them in the end. And the other pairs are just full of eye-rolling and sighing. They all come across as some people who have a general knowledge of meteorology, and that is about all. Most of them (if not all of them) are just thrill seekers to be honest.

I am not surprised there was only six episodes made of this highly disappointing series. A severe weather/ tornado fanatic can find better entertainment sifting through videos to watch on the YouTube platform. Anyone else looking for entertainment in GENERAL would best find it someplace else as well.
