Learn more- Eleven couples remained just two weeks into the seventh season of "Dancing with the Stars," and one more couple would find out Tuesday night if their dance card was up.
To the encore: Judge Len Goodman said the judges were in agreement in wanting to see Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson perform their paso doble once more.
To the scoreboard: Cloris Leachman and Corky Ballas were at the bottom, leaving Corky to wonder, "They wanted you to be funny? This dance is not funny. It's powerful and dramatic." "I thought I was hilarious," Cloris replied.
Rocco DiSpirito and Karina Smirnoff were in 10th, but Rocco said it has "no impact" on the amount of fun he's having. Kim Kardashian and Mark Ballas were in ninth place and they both thought they'd have a higher score. In eighth place were Maurice Greene and Cheryl Burke, leaving Maurice to say, "We're going to come back next week and improve on the 19."
Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer were in seventh with 20 points. "You know what?" Lacey said. "Let them (the judges) disagree with you. Let's see what America has to say."
Tied for fourth were Misty May-Treanor, Susan Lucci & Tony Dovolani, and Cody Linley & Julianne Hough. Toni Braxton & Alec Mazo were dancing for joy with their third place finish, while Brooke Burke & Derek Hough and Warren & Kym were tied for first.
To the results: In no particular order, the first two couples who would live to see another round were: Toni & Alec and Rocco & Karina. Rocco and Karina, in particular, looked stunned.
Be our guest: Jessica Simpson stopped by to perform her current single "Come on Over." Jenna Dewan of "Step Up" and Carmit Bachar, a former Pussycat Doll, later showed up to perform. Simpson came back later to sing "Angel."
More results: The next couple safe was "those crazy kids," as host Tom Bergeron said, Cody & Julianne. The next safe couple was Brooke & Derek.
Globetrotters: There was an interesting vignette following the weekly journey of judges Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman, who are judges on both the American and British versions of "Dancing with the Stars." After filming the Monday and Tuesday shows in America, they board an 11-hour flight to the U.K., film two shows there and head back to the States on Saturday night.
Back to the results: The next couple sent to safety was Susan & Tony. After a piece about the red room, where the contestants can let loose and Rocco is always on his phone, Warren & Kym became the next couple definitely moving on. Joining them were Maurice & Cheryl.
The big finish: Lance & Lacey, Cloris & Corky, Kim & Mark, and Misty & Maks were the final four couples left on the stage awaiting word. The next couple safe was ... Lance & Lacey. Joining them in safety were Misty & Maks.
That left Kim & Mark and Cloris & Corky -- not necessarily the bottom two, but ensuring that the father-and-son rivalry would come to an end. The couple leaving the competition were ... Kim & Mark.
