There is a water shortage among the cavemen and they blame the drought on the coinciding arrival of astronauts Mac (Frank Aletter) and Hector (Jack Mullaney). They feel the only answer is to sacrifice the two men. Gronk (Joe E. Ross) and Shad (Imogene Coca) tell their friends that an earthquake ended the last dry spell. Mac and Hector build a time bomb and plant it in the well. Breer (Pat Cardi) finds the ball-shaped bomb and gives it to his father Gronk to use as a pillow. Shad finds it and thinks it is an egg, but Mac and Hector grab it in time to return it to the well, but the blast produces no results. After scientific experiments fail, they resort to primitive rain dances around the pole they are threatened to be sacrificed on. It's more plot-centered than comical, in my mind, but an engaging episode nonetheless.
