[7.6] Birthday girl who would soon go south

Episode 5: Again, great acting with poor storylines. All the 8 is for its acting, good choice of musics and a little deranged atmosphere being magnified by the K "priestess" and the drug-induced guests.

One of the few shows that seems to go nowhere, especially with that sharp set-up, people, environment and all the loose beasts that they bear on their consciences.

Quirky

This show is super quirky. Super well written and full of superb actors acting superbly. Yes, it's not for everyone but I'm loving it.

No room for suppression

The show relentlessly puts its finger in the emotional wounds of every individual in the resort - whether employees or participants. There is no room for excuses, lies or suppression. Everything is revealed. The means that are needed for this are more than questionable and what an agenda Nicole Kidman as Masha and her employees / lovers have is still completely open. It remains exciting. The actors all show excellent performances. I love the show so far. Let's hope that the carefully built tension can be continued into an intoxicating finale.

Nothing much happened. What did happen could have been condensed into a two minute "what you missed" lead in to the next episode.

Losing the interest

This show started off great, grabbed your attention but it's losing me now. Nothing is happening and as if leading into nothing.

Nicole Kidman is hottt.

Nine boring strangers

Great cast but horrible characters and this episode was painful to watch.

Trigger warning for people that don't like seeing dead animals: skip the scene at 28:00.

Or better yet skip the whole series or be a masochist like me apparently.

The book is really interesting and the series is not even close to it, you must change the name of the series.
