- The COBRA meeting is very distressing to watch as the politicians are presented as viewing the masses as expendable and decide to sacrifice the 10% lowest achieving children of the country.
- Plot focuses on the abuse and abduction of children, very distressing to watch.
- The whole episode is quite suspenceful and threatening and loads of people die. One of which may affect most of the audience.

Violence & Gore
- Two recurring characters are both killed in this episode, one by poisoned gas, the other by means of a high pitched frequency frying his brain. The latter of these is extremely violent and bloody as he screams in agony as blood pours from his ears and nose.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Two recurring characters die, once of which having been in the show since the first series and his death is presented as meaningless and incredibly upsetting way.
- A whole building of government employees is gassed and people are shown desperately clawing at the door to get out as they die.
- An old man is killed by a high frequency sound wave that fries his brain. Very disturbing, as blood pours from his nose and ears as he screams.
- The politicians demand to know what the aliens intend to do with the children they abduct, which leads to the reveal of a mutated child being shown inside their tank, strapped to a kind of operating table. The child has been kept a child for over forty years and drained by the creature over all that time, all the while being kept alive and sentient. Very hard to watch, especially for those with children.
