In the main sketch, Hollywood columnist Hedda Hopper interviews Red in his dressing room where he talks about how, as a boy, he wanted to be a circus clown like his father. Red, the father, is about to lose his job with the circus due to stale material. In a flashback sequence, Red, the boy, runs away from home to join his father in a new act, in which the son takes part. This episode was filmed for use later in the season, but was broadcast early (30 April 1957) when Red was forced to postpone the original April 30th episode (Cookie in Cuba) because Red contracted a severe virus and was unable to perform.
