Sex & Nudity

  • The mildest of sexual innuendoes are batted about during the funeral scene over Ms. Hartigan's attire.

Violence & Gore

  • Rosita punches Ms. Hartigan full in the face, leaving her bloodied.
  • The Doctor engages in a delaying-action swordfight against a Cyberman, as he attempts to convince them that he is the Doctor.
  • The Cybermen electrocute many men during the Funeral scene.
  • Later, they force Ms. Hartigan to become their "CyberKing," strapping her into a machine strongly reminiscent of an electric chair. The CyberKing is armed with many major weapons, which Ms. Hartigan unleashed in a wave of revenge against London. However, once the Doctor gets her to see what she's become and to realize that the Cybermen were just using her, she erupts in rage, causing the Cybermen to explode.
  • The Doctor and Jackson Lake both use faulty infostamps to electrocute Cybermen.
  • The Doctor and Jackson Lake are dragged along in a slapstick manner by a Cybershade, almost falling to their deaths before Rosita cuts the rope with a fire axe.

Profanity

  • A couple of veiled potential racist remarks are made by Ms. Hartigan towards Rosita, such as admonishing her that Jackson Lake "probably doesn't pay you to speak" (though this may alternately have a prostitution connotation).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The final destruction of the CyberKing, including Ms. Hartigan's death, is a fairly intense and frightening scene.
  • The themes of parental death and kidnapping, as well as Jackson Lake's fugue state, could be frightening to children with abandonment issues.
