In the first few minutes you wonder if its a farce so stiff and staged the acting is, so completely artificial, so utterly barren of any realism. Then with incredulity you realize, yes, they are serious. It looks like it was shot on a cell phone from 20 years ago. The writing is something that would come out of 1950's elementary school production. This takes awful to new heights!

A Mother of No Destination isn't very good. I watch a lot of horror and sci-fi and I can enjoy a good movie even if it's bad, but there are limits.
This film is extremely slow. Acting is weird. Computer generated effects look like a Power Point presentation from the 80's and the story is really old. Sound is terrible and ranges from a whisper to a scream.
I suspected the worst already from the opening credits. Fancy lettering taking forever to spell the words. Then seeing one of the characters walking (also forever) in a funny way (and then back again) made me believe it was a comedy, but if it was it wasn't very funny.
To be honest I haven't tried it myself, but I would expect it to be extremely hard to torch a building made from concrete and steel by pouring gasoline on the outside of it. Somebody ought to tell the director.
If you sit through it all watch for the looping space outside the space ship. The stars move only to jump right back to where they started over and over again.

Horribly shot, horribly cast

The effects looked like a pre-schooler did them. The lead actress. Overacting. The shots were not good. No reaction to the guy being shot in the head from the crowd around him. The male actor doing the shooting seemed a little confused on his line. Not convincing. Mother crying to family being killed, not convincing. She had dialogue all through her grief. Sometimes the stuff that is not said is important. Film is a visual story, so let the shots tell the story, but the shots needed work as well. The end credits....since when does the crew and production get listed before principle/lead cast members? And why are some of the background actors listed before principle cast members.

From the very first scene, you can tell this is a terrible movie, lady is looking at a screen, after some calculation I suppose, and acting like she is peeping into space. Acting was bad from everyone from the very first minute. So bad. And it got worse. Trying to remember who recommended this movie so I know not to take anything it says serious. This is a huge joke of a movie and not funny.

The previous reviewer is absolutely correct in stating this was shot on a 20 year-old cellphone. But those 1950's elementary school productions generally turned out more raw talent. You know from the pretentious font in the opening credits that this is not worth your time. It's worse than that - the sound is so bad it will destroy your speakers.

First I'd like to say this is my first review ever, I just have to know.. When you get a movie this bad, and I mean bad, and of the 9 reviews here so far 6 are a 9 or better do these reviewers think that when someone reads the high reviews people will watch no matter what? I love Sci-Fi I mean I really love Sci-Fi and I have watched some gawd awful productions, but I watched them anyways because I really love Sci-Fi but this garbage is on a whole new level. All I can think of is the high ratings are from people involved in the production, nothing else makes sense.

NO NO and thrice NO this movie is awful the sound is awful drowns out the lines the acting is awful you can actually see the "actors" reading there lines off a cue card the effects are theres no word for them anyone liking this movie has some have must be very very very easily pleased leave this movie alone for your own sanity though that would prob do a better job awful awful awful.

The film started off good but seem to go down hill a bit with the background and sound. That being said, if you made it through that, there was a story in it that will make you paranoid. I don't know if the maker of this film did this on purpose but if you look at all the current distractions on the news and the global space races along with sudden wealthy investment in property on other planets. Also, the last article I just read about a new designed ship to take human civilization out of the solar system. Some parts of the story are actually happening. I don't know, it may sound like a conspiracy theory or maybe there is some small amount of truth behind this story. Maybe it is a warning. Make your own decision on the film. I wonder, if anyone else picked up on the hidden messages as well?
The 10's are fake/parody/ironic.

Those rating this as "10" list off all the worst parts and call them "fantastic". They are being ironic. I've only ever seen one "movie" this level of horrifically bad, in my entire life.
This is like some kid filming his parents as "actors", doesn't know how to hold a ****ing camera still, or even point in the right direction, and hasn't got the faintest clue how to do a 'greenscreen'.
It is the single worst "movie" I've ever seen on every single account. Only one even comes close. You've GOT to see this one... just to see how sickeningly bad it is.

I enjoyed this movie .I found very modern .I enjoyed seeing new movie stars .I found it had a mix of all different styles of entertainment -from Gaming ,sci-fri .I enjoyed the storyline and like how it was in space I will differently watch more than 3 times. All the characters are generally adorable. Which can only by the way ,mean the movie is brilliant.

It had a lot of Mystery to it. I think the Sedition on the ship went hand and hand with January 6 atrocity. It was definitely a great story hands down, But some of the editing needed some work. I believe that is something a better budget could have fixed. I would recommend to people who are into independent films. It is definitely worth the watch in my book.
