A young boy who brutally murders his father and his housekeeper while they are engaging in an affair escapes from his mental institution fifteen years later to return home and continue his killing spree.
Films like Deadly Little Christmas annoy the hell out of me simply because there is not an ounce of creativity or originality present. True filmmakers have a vision. Even with the most absolute cliched and terrible script, a talented filmmaker will bring his or her own unique vision to the material when filming. Deadly Little Christmas is nothing more than an awful and blatant rip-off of Halloween and virtually every 80's slasher film that came after it. There is nothing original about it. There is nothing memorable about it. There is nothing interesting about it. There is nothing effective about it. And most importantly,...

Rock star extraordinaire Aine Leicht dropped us off a couple of stills for Domiziano Arcangeli's latest film The Occultist for your enjoyment, and one of them just brings the biggest evil smile to our faces! Ah, indie filmmaking! How we love the balls that you exhibit at times.
Before we get to the stills ... a little background. Arcangeli is teaming up with producer David S. Sterling on two new horror films: the currently shooting The Occultist and H1N1 Virus, which goes into production in mid-September.
The first of the two films, already in production, is The Occultist. Directed by Novin Shakiba (Deadly Little Christmas), the film tells the story of a group of medical students at a prestigious university who try to evoke evil spirits with sinister results. Domiziano co-stars with Ursula Vari and Rachel Reynolds.

There's no shortage of red stuff in the new teaser trailer for Silent Night, Zombie Night , and I'm not talking about Christmas decorations. Director Sean Cain isn't skimping on the gore here. Filming on this indie effort took place, appropriately, last December. Lew Temple, Vernon Wells and Felissa Rose all make appearances. Aet a week before Christmas, a viral outbreak turns the citizens of Los Angeles into zombie. On the brink of breaking up with both his wife and partner, L.A.P.D. Officer Frank Talbot finds himself trapped in an apartment with them. As death closes in they try not only to survive, but work around the fact that both men love the same woman.

Looks like the crew over at Velvet Hammer Films are close to a premiere for "Silent Night, Zombie Night," with the first teaser available for zombie horror film fans. Set during Christmas time the film, appropriately, will see a late 2009 release date. Involving a three-way love story and streets of blood this low budget film offers more than the typical zombie film. Check out the first trailer below and an excerpt from a previous interview with director Sean Cain.
A synopsis for "Silent Night, Zombie Night," below...

Don’t let the title Silent Night, Zombie Night fool you. While writer/director Sean Cain is clearly paying homage to the campy 80s slasher flick Silent Night, Deadly Night, there’s nothing campy about his latest film.
“Snzn is really the story of three people who emotionally fall apart and come together during a zombie pandemic,” explained Cain. “So while yes, the movie is about zombies, it’s really about these three people dealing with their own issues during a horrific ordeal.”
Taking place a week before Christmas, Snzn is about a viral outbreak that’s unleashed, turning La citizens into the feral undead. While facing the devastating effects of the outbreak, Lapd officer Frank Talbot (Jack Forcinito) is also faced with the decision of whether or not to leave both his wife Sarah (Nadine Stenovitch) and his partner Nash (Andy Hopper).
