In the space of a generation, Fuengirola has been transformed from a fishing village into a tourist city. However, just 50 m from the hustle and bustle of the seafront, a few Fuengirola fishermen continue with their traditional life: mending their nets on the quayside and setting off before dawn to fish. Restricted by the EU and threatened by the depletion of fish stocks, they know that they are probably the last generation of fishermen of Fuengirola.
