It is a heroic and little-known episode of the Second World War. Winter 43: De Gaulle secretly sends his two master spies into occupied Paris. He entrusts Colonel Passy and Pierre Brossolette, number 1 and 2 of the BCRA, with the crucial mission of unifying the Resistance networks in the northern zone. Fierce and hardened by three years of occupation, the shadow soldiers were placed under the authority of the General. This historic mission was a military one: it was necessary to prepare the D-Day landings. But it was also political: De Gaulle had to prove his legitimacy as leader of the Resistance to Churchill and Roosevelt. "The General's spies" is a unique dive into the Paris of the Occupation.
