- M.O.D.O.K. and Jodie have reconciled and the kids have decided to do everything their father wants, too. Things couldn't be better, or could they all somehow be caught in a dastardly plan by a familiar foe?
- Young M.O.D.O.K. is holding Jodie, Melissa and Lou captive and has replaced them with robot duplicates who conform to all of old M.O.D.O.K.'s wishes. They manage to escape, only to find themselves facing even more robot duplicates of themselves as well as M.O.D.O.K., all competing to the death in Arcade's Murderworld.—The TV Archaeologist
- MODOK and Jodie lie in bed after sex, and MODOK wonders if what happened is real. Jodie is dozing, wakes up, and assures him that him that they had sex, and she can hear his thoughts because he left his though vocalizer on. She asks him to stay, and assures him that she still wants him. Melissa and Lou come in with breakfast, having heard their parents the whole night, and are happy their family is back together. Jodie tells them that their family is getting back together, much to MODOK's surprise.
The real Jodie, Melissa, and Lou are strapped to chairs in cell watching their impostors on a monitor, while MODOK accepts that it's all true. MODOK gets a second breakfast in bed, and figures that it's the best day of his life. The evil MODOK enters the cell and tells the imprisoned family that he's from 20 years ago. He laments how he doesn't have a beautiful life in the present, and blames the family for ruining himself. Melissa asks what his plan is, and evil MODOK says that his plan is torture, and he intends to use the robots of the family to show MODOK how replaceable they are to him.
Evil MODOK says that Super-Adaptoid helped him make the robots, and Super-Adaptoid comes in. the family aren't surprised, and evil MODOK prepares to inject them with poisonous needles that slowly advance on poles. Only MODOK can save them, and he has no idea they're in danger.
The robot Lou tells MODOK that he no longer wants to do magic at his bar mitzvah. Robot Melissa wants to start a family band, just like MODOK has always wanted. MODOK goes to the soundproof bathroom after eating his breakfast, and Melissa figures that when MODOK stops eating, they have to send him a message. She suggests they use the Roomba at the house, and her GRUMBL watch controller. Jodie tosses Lou her shoe so he can reach Melissa's strapped wrist
MODOK and his robot family play in their band, while Lou moves the Roomba around the house. He gets a box of his old marbles and has the Roomba spell out the word "Robots". Robot Jodie steps on a marble before MODOK can see them, and she plays a song about renewing their vows to him. She trips on a marble, ripping off her face mask and revealing her robot face. MODOK agrees to renewing their vows and puts her face back, and then tries to kiss her but only electrocutes himself.
MODOK and robot Jodie pick cake for their renewal ceremony, Meanwhile, Melissa tells Jodie that she'll have to seduce evil MODOK. She isn't in to it, and tells Melissa that a woman shouldn't have to resort to using her sexuality. They argue about Jodie using her sexuality on Wonder Man, and Melissa says that it way too soon after Jodie split up with MODOK. Lou interrupts them to tell them that they have to try to escape and save MODOK. Jodie wishes they cut her as much slack as they cut MODOK, and Lou admits that he had to be nice because Melissa is going to abandon him for college.
The family argue, and evil MODOK watches them on the monitors.
MODOK and robot Jodie hold their renewal ceremony in the garage, and MODOK sings his own accompaniment as he comes in. MODOK short-circuits and his face blows up, revealing that he's a robot as well. The needle poles retract and the straps remove themselves from an explosion, and the family runs out to find MODOK.
MODOK searches the corridors for his family. He finds them, just as another family arrive. Another family reveal themselves, and evil MODOK, Super-Adaptoid, and Arcade step out on a balcony above. Evil MODOK welcomes MODOK and his family to Murderworld, and the lights come on to reveal the Murderworld façade. MODOK wonders why he has so many families, and figures evil MODOK is a time traveling version of him. Evil MODOK figures MODOK tracked him down by tracing the robot he left to lure MODOK there, and turns things over to Arcade.
Arcade tells the prisoners that it's all about the carnival death games. A rack of weapons emerges, and Arcade says that the real family is mixed in with all the duplicates. The robots believe that they're the real family, and they have 20 minutes to figure out which are the robots and then kill them. If they fail or refuse to try, they will all be killed. The winners will be allowed to leave.
Evil MODOK starts the countdown, and says that there were three chambers, and a real family member was put with two duplicate. The floor so they can't keep track of who they came in with, and when it stops, Arcade puts in two robot MODOKs. They check each other for USB ports but find nothing, and one Melissa kills two of the others. The survivor finds computer chips in the dead ones, confirming that she's the real one.
One Lou grabs an axe and manages to split his own head open, revealing a chip. Jodie says that they have to talk to each other and ask each other questions, because there's things the real family knows that the robots don't. MODOK asks one Jodie what their anniversary is. She gets it right, but he gets it wrong. He kills her, but fortunately she's a robot. Melissa stabs the other two, figuring the only the real MODOK would get the anniversary wrong.
The two remaining Jodies figures that if they answer a question wrong, they'll figure she's a robot. Arcade releases giant pinballs, while Jodie figures there's no good answer. One Jodie sacrifices herself, but they realize it was robot and the remaining Jodie is the real one. That leaves two Lous, but they're already friends and MODOK figures that there's been enough killing, and evil MODOK reminds them of the stakes. They decide to wait the remaining '15 minutes,
To pass the time, MODOK wonders how evil MODOK is going to kill them, and Arcade explains that he's rigged up giant pinball flippers. When MODOK points out that evil MODOK couldn't kill them without Arcade's help, evil MODOK tells Arcade to stop the countdown and he'll go down and fight his older counterpart. Arcade complains that it's a breach of the rules, reveals that he's a robot (or not) , and leaves.
Evil MODOK drops down to the floor and rips a piece out of MODOK. Jodie attacks evil MODOK and rips him in half, then removes the part on MODOK that he damaged, gives it to Melissa, and haves her daughter fix MODOK. Melissa does so with help from Lou, and when MODOK wakes up he's surprised that they all saved him. They go to get something to eat, enjoying having two Lous.
Super-Adaptoid joins them and apologizes for betraying them. Melissa points out that he betrays them all the time, and they just reset him and he does it again. She resets him again, and he assures the family he would never betray them... until MODOK refuses to let him have chicken fingers.
