A quick resume on Uyuni's tradition
Ceck4 October 2009
I was pretty happy with this movie, despite it get slow some times. The photography is amazing and shows many places from the Southern-west area in Bolivia, near Uyuni Salt flat. The road of the salt, a tradition that has been dying faster in the last decade, is made by a father and his son Kunturi. It is the time to collect and exchange salt for other goods, like corn, quinoa, potato and others. Before, during and after the trip, you can witness, different rituals the quechuas have in this region, their respect for Pachamama, and how the modern western tradition is changing things in these small towns. The value and contact that this people had and have with their environment, is still underestimated.
