Growing increasingly disconnected from coherent plot line
billsoccer15 May 2021
A 60-minute sidestep to Afghanistan, to relive a bad experience. What this has to do with the debris escapes me. What's becoming increasingly clear is that the writers don't have an end in mind - seems like all ideas are thrown against the wall and whatever sticks is shot for the next episode.

It would be better without that ugly beard
That beard and the hair are totally WRONG, there was another soldiers with better hairstyle. What they were thinking? A little boring pace along the Afghanistan flashback, but still a watchable episode.

Great show bad beard
vwvoyager12 May 2021
His beard looked like debris found in a dump. Not half as good as the last episodes.

More about the beard!

I came here to make a joke about that hilariously fake looking beard but a lot of people beat me to it. This show is starting to get so clever with the convoluted stiory lines that pretty soon it will more trouble than it is worth.

I'm so glad I'm not alone

I'm watching this like, damn that is the worst fake beard I've ever seen. I've seen better beards on SNL. Came here to see what others thought and I'm glad I'm not alone haha. Still a great episode. Only taking off 1 because of the beard haha. Glad this show has gotten so much better than it was in the beginning. I still enjoyed it, but I didn't focus 100% of my time on watching the show. The last few episodes has really reeled me in and I do enjoy it a lot more now.

Another great show but that beard he had on is one of the worst and silliest fake assed beards I've ever seen.

Unique series but the main character is hard to understand
sccjinfo12 May 2021
Very interesting series - I agree on the horribly fake beard. My main complaint is that Riann is very hard to understand in most episodes.

comedy beard and wig mistake
Rob-O-Cop13 May 2021
I think this episode was good, but I was so distracted by the comedy beard as was poor Jonathan Tucker who wore it self consciously and hardly moved his head so as not to accidentally bump it off.

I not sure where they're going with the Afghan war thing and Brian's past acts. They reveal he went nuts and exterminated a village of protected citizens in this on. I'm not sure I'm interested in that when there's a bunch of alien debris that creates effects akin to magic in the modern world.

Finola's now a brain surgeon who knows how to reboot a patient's brain by electric shocking it? Really?

Also, if the lady is holding Beneventi via a mind link, why not try and sedate her, knock her out? Just an idea. I don't want to tell you how to conduct your investigation etc.

Still a good watch and they're still not revealing much which is the strength here. Playing the cards close to the chest.

Never mind the beard people
knoopgat12 May 2021
Beard not OK? No, it is just like a real Taliban beard. Some American soldiers had it to blend in. Maybe, just maybe, a little to neat, I don't care. Google search for Taliban beard. This episode showed again the capable acting of the main characters. And: compare the fine action scene with the nonsense in Without Remorse..

Of course the debris is connected...
leh028712 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
There are some episodes where logic just has to be suspended and this was one of them. They're all acting surprised that the debris is connected-like it's a revelation. Um.. it all came from the same alien ship. Of course it's connected. The crazier (and harder to swallow) thing is that each piece of debris does something different. Plot holes abound!

Beard!

Shout out to all the actors in this episode who had to read their lines convincingly with that fake beard in front of them. Amazing professionalism.

A great episode that gives some long awaited spotlight on Bryan
boogieknightrises13 April 2023
After much of the series has focused on Finola's personal life and relationships, it was great to see more of Bryan's past and learn about his painful backstory. With just enough debris weirdness threaded through and teasing some of the bigger picture.

And a great and thankless performance from Erin Karpluk who has to deliver strangeness and nothing else. A sigh of relief after the intense two parter and before the final two episodes of the season.

What are these damn injections and who was that man at the end. Some new and continuing mysteries to ponder.

I love how open hearted this show it.

SO boring!
whatithinkis11 May 2021
Horrible horrible beard and hair.

Whoever is doing make-up: no.

There is fascinating debris everywhere and they spent more time on Afghanistan . . . I'm pretty close to pulling the plug on this. Fast forwarded through the last two thirds of this episode.

It's pretty hilarious that this website blows up her one expression in the intro. So not only are we sick of seeing it over and over in the show, we have to squinch past it to even open the 'Debris' page.

Time to finito Finola.

Simply awful episode
cmmsobral20 March 2022
After a fantastic 2 part episodes, this crap.

If I wanted to see an episode about the war in Afghanistan I would see a war serie, not a Sci.fi serie.

Unfortuntely i can't give a complete ZERO.
