Martin Scorsese has turned his camera on the legacy of glam rock, as embodied by the famed band the New York Dolls.

The synopsis reads: Framed around an intimate cabaret performance filmed in January 2020 at New York City’s storied Café Carlyle, the film explores the life and musical transformations of New York Dolls frontman David Johansen’s enormous influence as he regales the audience with stories and music illuminating the art and cultural evolution of New York City.

Apparently, not even James Cameron can salvage The Terminator franchise. Returning to his 1984 creation with Terminator: Dark Fate, he made the bold (and probably correct) decision to jettison everything that happened after the first sequel. Recognizing that all subsequent stories have failed to recapture the thrills of these two, he decides to wipe the board clean and upend all the audience expectations.
Cleverly, he picks up with clips from Terminator 2: Judgment Day then makes a clean break by having John Connor shot dead, creating a branching timeline that prevented audiences from knowing what came next. However, what we discover is that Skynet may not exist, but Legion, an equally vile AI, has taken control and is sending their version of Terminators — Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna) — after the next “savior”, a young woman Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes). In the end, its different but startlingly familiar.

Walt Disney Animation Studios revealed the roster of voice talent tapped to help bring a voice, snort and a roar to the animal residents of the modern-day mammal metropolis of Zootopia, which opens in theaters March 4, 2016.
“We had so much fun casting this film,” said director Byron Howard. “‘Zootopia’ features such a large and diverse range of characters – one of our biggest casts ever for a Disney Animation film. We needed talented actors who could help bring these animals to life.”
Adds director Rich Moore, “Everyone in this incredible cast is bringing something special, something unexpected to their characters, which really takes our story to a whole new level.”

Joining Ginnifer Goodwin, who provides the voice of Zootopia’s first bunny officer Judy Hopps; Jason Bateman, who lends his voice to con-artist fox Nick Wilde; and Shakira, who voices international superstar Gazelle, are the following members of the “Zootopia” voice cast.

Disney's upcoming animated film Zootopia looks like it's going to a ridiculously funny and entertaining film. I got to see some footage from it at D23 this past summer, and I thought the stuff that the studio shared was great.
The voice cast for the film originally included Jason Bateman, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Shakira. Now, thanks to USA Today, we have some information on the rest of the voice cast and the characters that they will be playing. We even have images and information for each of those characters. But first, here's the synopsis:
The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But...

I really wasn’t interested in spending my night watching some deep dark show, centered around murders and abductions — but when I saw Jennifer Love Hewitt running across my screen covered in blood, I figured I’d stick around.

But the scene that sold me on Jennifer’s ability to act, was when Mariska Hargitay’s character,...

It came down last week that CBS canceled its Friday night supernatural drama "Ghost Whisperer," which was a bit surprising considering the network kept its Friday night spooky partner "Medium" and that "Whisperer" consistently won its time slot.
There were talks that the Jennifer Love Hewitt vehicle would move to ABC but those rumors have been nixed by Executive Producers Kim Moses and Ian Sander. "After five wonderful seasons and over 100 episodes, we are disappointed to announce 'Ghost Whisperer' will not be returning for a sixth season," the EPs said in a statement.
Never fear, Jlw fans! She will be hitting the screen in Marc Erlbaum's drama "Cafe" later this year, which tells the story of tragedy striking a small community and the realization of how the lives of regular cafe customers are entwined.
What say you, "Ghost Whisperer" fans? Sad it won't be crossing over to ABC?...

ABC has confirmed that they have no further plans to pick up "Ghost Whisperer" which CBS had recently cancelled. The Jennifer Love Hewitt show had a chance with ABC since the studio co-produces the with CBS. However, with the show coming to the end of its fifth season, costs in terms of production and talent fees increase. The actress completed work in Marc Erlbaum's drama "Cafe" with Alexa Vega, Madeline Carrol, Jamie Kennedy and Adam Shapiro. That story is set in a cafe in West Philadelphia and tells of when terror hits the community surrounding a cafe and the realization of how the lives of regular cafe customers are entwined.

The 90s, in case you thought they ever went away, are most certainly back. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy, two actors who peaked in the 90s and have stuck around ever since, will star together in Cafe, a drama to be written about directed by Marc Erlbaum. The movie sounds basically like an ensemble drama version of Friends, following a group of Philadelphians who all meet at the same coffee shop where Hewitt's character works. Rounding out the cast, according to Variety, are Alexa Vegas, Madelin Carroll, Daniel Eric Gold and Hubble Palmer. The movie started filming on May 11, which I guess means Kennedy and Hewitt will have to hustle their way over to the set right now. Just remember, guys, you're not heading to Central Perk -- it's West Philly Grounds now.

Could Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy be the next It couple? Probably not, but that's not stopping them from bringing their romance to the big screen. The Hollywood Reporter posts that Hewitt and Kennedy are going to star in a new indie drama called Cafe from writer/director Marc Erlbaum. Hewitt will play an employee at the local West Philly Grounds coffee shop where Alexa Vega and other ensemble members stop by for a cup.
Already, "indie drama" separates this project from the likes of Kennedy's supremely cringe-worthy feature work, so I can't help but wonder: Is Jennifer the muse that will wipe away our reservations and give Jamie work more worthy of his post-Randy Meeks life?
Meanwhile, Rita Wilson is gearing up to write a new college comedy, according to Variety. Not only that -- she's going to star. Look out Rodney Dangerfield, Rita's going back to school.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy will star in Cafe, which is as far as I can tell an ensemble piece about a bunch of Philadelphia residents who frequent a coffee shop where Love Hewitt's character works. Marc Erlbaum (Head Space) writes and directs. Jamie Kennedy, Alexa Vega, Madeline Carroll, Daniel Eric Gold and Hubble Palmer were all also cast.
