It ain't over till it's over, and this movie is a funny, touching ride all the way

Faded Glory is a movie about baseball, but it's also a look into the lives of and influences on a group of men who reunite to take the 35+ championship after many trials and tribulations. Written and directed by the charismatic Rick Cohen, who is also the star and pivotal catalyst for reassembling the team, we see the lives of these players through the lens of baseball. It is, at times, hysterically funny, touching, poignant and a historic look at the evolution of a baseball player, from little league to the minors and the majors, in the context and through the dynamics of a group of friends and players. Visually interesting with clever editing and a pretty rocking soundtrack, this movie fires on all cylinders and gives 110% entertainment value as well as lessons learned with respect to family, inspiration, and following your dreams no matter what the obstacles are.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. This really is a must-see, and I would especially recommend for teens and college students; however would be appropriate for all ages if you allow the exception of very minor coarse language and adult themes. This is a film that will likely fly under the radar but should be a definite addition to the baseball lover's film collection. Definitely worth it.
