An angry man (an amusing performance by Greg Kindra, who also co-wrote the blithely ridiculous script) seeks revenge on a dill pickle and his gang of lethal vegetable flunkies who tried to kill him. Director/co-writer Dave Cain whips up an uproariously inane and absurd parody of Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" movies that might be pretty silly and stupid, but still succeeds in being extremely funny and entertaining just the same. It's an absolute riot to watch our resolute and determined hero ruthlessly crush a poor grapefruit against a refrigerator door, hack his way through a head of iceberg lettuce with a steak knife, and take on a whole bunch of vicious vegetables all by himself. Better still, this inspired short even uses exact music cues from the Tarantino features that includes Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)." Moreover, there's a handy helping of hardcore explicit veggie splatter carnage complete with sticky red juice squirting all over the place. The fact that said vegetables are manipulated on pretty obvious wires only adds considerably to the already substantial gut-busting hilarity of the whole gloriously gag enterprise. A complete hoot.
