Another decent episode finds the crew of the Antares close to Venus and making final preparations for the landing; there are some complications though, Donner is convinced that Beta has chosen him for the mission and that Paula's injury was Beta's way of saying she isn't the person to pilot the Venus lander. Final tests before they go will determine which of them will be going down to Venus.The crew still have concerns about Beta's intentions, in particular Jen who believes the fact she didn't suffer any hallucinations and can't see Beta suggests she wasn't chosen and isn't meant to be there. While that is going on in space back on Earth reporter Trevor Williams is trying to find out what is happening on the Antares as he doesn't believe the solar flare story put out by mission control.
Overall this was a pretty good episode, it benefited from having less flashback scenes compared to the proceeding episodes and as they approach Venus the tension is starting to rise.
