The late 1990s had an odd fascination with the Devil and the end of days that gave audiences all kinds of crazy films with varied levels of success. Most of these seemed to come out right around 1999, the end of the millennium when people were starting to panic. However, some of these end of days films came out earlier and set the trend. 1997 was an odd year that saw the release of Dante’s Peak, The Devil’s Own, Volcano, the original Open Your Eyes, Seven Years in Tibet, and a bunch more. There was a trend for the end of days, but also a search for religion which then led to the perfect storm of both with The Devil’s Advocate (watch it Here), a bit end of days, a bit of religious mayhem, and a whole lot of cautionary tale.
In 1997, folks were getting ready for the big millennium change, but...

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse sling-shotted past the competition to dominate the 51st Annie Awards, which were handed out Sunday night at UCLA’s Royce Hall. The Sony Animation sequel snared Best Feature and six other trophies — the same number that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse scored at the 2019 Annies — setting it up as the front-runner for the Animated Feature Oscar next month.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse went on to take Best Animated Feature at the 91st Academy Awards.
Since the Best Animated Feature Oscar category was launched in 2002, 14 of the 21 winners of the Annies’ top feature prize – and seven of the past 11 – went on to claim the golden statuette. Last year followed suit, as Netflix’s Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio triumphed at both trophy shows.
On Sunday, Spider-Man scored wins for Directing, Music, Production Design, Character Design, FX and editing.

Salman Khan Was Once Miffed By Sandeep Reddy Vanga (Picture Credit: Facebook & IMDb)
Salman Khan is one of those people who is very particular about his panga. If you miff Bhaijaan once, then it is very difficult to get back to his good books. So kudos to Sandeep Reddy Vanga for pulling this stunt. Recent reports suggest that the animal filmmaker has approached Bhaijaan for a dark broody film. Reports further say that Bhai is very interested in the script and might sign the dotted line.
Well, this will definitely be a major move on with time. Salman was miffed by the director and his film Animal. For those who have come late, when Ranbir Kapoor signed the dotted line for the gangster drama, this violent film was not titled Animal.

The producers behind Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Steve Loter and Rodney Clouden, revealed one big change for Lunella Lafayette in Season 2 of her animated series.
Season 1 served as a fantastic origin story for the 13-year-old super genius and her pet T-Rex, seamlessly introducing the wild concept to audiences. However, they needed to make some sweeping changes in the process, which included neglecting her original Inhuman trait.
Season 1 ended on a massive cliffhanger, with Lunella getting sucked into a portal to the unknown with no way back. But not only will she return, she’ll be doing so with a reinvigorated focus.

I don’t know of many Christmas horror adaptations. Sure, I could probably look at the history of Krampus and piece something together but other than that I’m hard pressed so let me know in the comments what I could cover next holiday season. Winter in general has all sorts of movies and stories that they are based off of. The very first episode of this show was all about The Thing and its source material Who Goes There and now in the middle of winter, at least in Colorado, I think it’s time to look at one of the better vampire properties of the 2000s and a great limited series comic. 30 Days of Night was originally pitched as a movie but when it was turned down, the comic came out and put the author’s name on the map. As is the nature of Hollywood, it...

Devil: The British Secret Agent Movie Review Rating:
Star Cast: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Samyuktha Menon, Edward Sonnenblick, Elnaaz Norouzi
Director: Abhishek Nama & Naveen Medaram
Devil: The British Secret Agent Movie Review Is Out! (Picture Credit: IMDb)
What’s Good: The film excels in its grand storytelling ambitions, creating an immersive narrative that blends murder mystery and espionage thriller. The execution of thrilling scenes, particularly the investigation phase, captures attention. The opulent setting, art design, and commendable performances, led by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Samyuktha Menon, contribute positively.
What’s Bad: The film’s overt reliance on dramatic elements and the descent into chaos in the second half might leave viewers yearning for a more cohesive plot. Unrealistic fight sequences, bordering on superhero feats, detract from the otherwise engaging storyline.
Loo Break: At approximately the 41-minute mark, an item song with Elnaaz Norouzi takes center stage. If you’re in need of a well-timed break,...
