Kendra really tried to appear as a single mom hustling whilst living in a massive house with a pool. And has apparently been hustling for ages but hasn't the slightest clue what a 'lead' is in relation to real estate. I really feel sorry for the agents who had to work with her because they actually got there with hard work and Kendra only got there because she did playboy. What really irked me is the apparent 'potential' she had, the countless people with actual sales skills and peoples skills that would have been more interesting to follow along is uncountable rather than the ex play boy model.

This show is entertaining, but extraordinarily cringe. Kendra clearly has no real world skills outside of living at the Playboy mansion and being a stay at home mom. She's definitely not a real estate agent, and every opportunity on this show was clearly organised by producers to add storyline to the show and make Kendra seem more competent than she is because the shows pre-written plot was for their would-be realtor to succeed and become a powerful boss lady.
I'm sure that this t.v show is Kendra's real job, because a real estate agent she is not. It's hard to watch her fumble through open houses, making herself look foolish in front of potential buyers and confusing men trying to sleep with her as "leads". Kendra is probably the dumbest person I've seen on reality t.v and it astounds me.
This girl wouldn't be able to land a job a McDonalds if not for her lingering Playboy fame and marriage to a famous football player.
That being said, the show's entertaining, if only to make fun of.

The team she works with makes this hard to watch. Kendra however is a joy to see jump into the real estate world . So sad how her coworkers and boss act . The first day they were acting so awful and made her so uncomfortable. This show would be so much nicer if she was with another agency . I wish she would've said no thank you and gone elsewhere when the boss offered her a "trial run."
It's all fake!!! Wake up people!!!

Reading the other reviews here has me wondering, "Do none of these people understand that pretty much everything that is made for tv is fake?"
The reason she is terrible at this is not because the real estate people are being mean to her. She is failing at it because she is suppose to fail. If she TRULY wanted to become a real estate agent, she would do so with a smaller company and without cameras all around her. How do you think you would do at learning a brand new job, with skills you've never ever had, if you were thrown into it with one of the biggest, most successful agencies in the world, all while having to play to the cameras every single second of the day? It's a tv show, not a learning experience for Kendra. The people who actually work for this company only do so after YEARS of being HIGHLY successful with smaller agencies and EARNING their way into this luxurious company! Why would anyone be nice to someone who is only there because she was on a Playboy tv show previously and so she can make money on a new tv show, basically using their agency as a prop, when they had to spend many years to get to the position she has been privileged into?! They know she isn't serious. So why should they be serious? Because, again, if she was truly serious, she would be at another smaller agency, with no cameras, working her ass off.
This is all a joke and should be taken that way while watching it.
Will you same people have the same outrage when she attempts to become a NASCAR driver and isn't given the serious tutelage of someone who has spent years in the lower circuits, honing their skills and craft?
What "job" will Kendra attempt to overtake next? Because all she's actually doing is learning how to make more money off the backs of people who know nothing about nothing(the gullible viewing public).
Kendra may become a real estate agent one day(she won't). But it will have NOTHING to do with her "experience" on this tv show.

I was so excited to watch this because of the Girls Next Door nostalgia. It was so painful and awkward to watch though. It's one thing if the first episode or two was her being awful and awkward about her new career, but it was the whole season. It was embarrassing to watch her fail so bad.

I really enjoy Kendra. I have the highest respect for her. She's quirky, smart and sweet. Much to the contrary of her real-instate partners who keep on patronising her -- and so do the producers of the show. This is really annoying and shows how many more centuries we have to go for cis-men to take a step down, and evolve beyond dated heteronormativity media representation. I keep on rolling my eyes. So you go Kendra and kick their asses! Success and power to you.

I'm disappointed this show is too fake. I am sure. Her boss would have got rid of her long time ago .She doesn't act like the same person that she was in her other reality show she acts so insecure, emotional, and crying. She was a much stronger person in the other series and didn't let stuff get to her so much. This show is like oh she got the contract but if she was an actual realtor in real life she would never sell anything. I know she's a little silly and comes off as a ding bat,
but she is very smart person but I think realty is like not her thing. I hope it gets better as it goes along?

It is seems to be, if you watch LA flipping shows anyway, that you only need to be over botoxed, much fillered, and bleach blonde to have the ability to sell million dollar properties. Not just this show, but ALL of the LA phony's. For those of us that have been "flipping" houses before that was even a term ( like 1986), this is hysterical. If you buy the saddest house in a good neighborhood and put some sweat equity into it, plastic surgery is not needed, you will make a profit and make another family very happy. Kendra is super cute and her kids are even cuter. When you are still young Kendra, maybe get out of that vampire vacuum and move out of Hollywoodland!

I feel for her. She has worked so hard to get to this point, and they threw her to the wolves. Starting out selling real estate with multi-million dollar homes would be next to impossible for the best of them. She needs confidence builders, training and experience. The way these men are looking down on her as a totally inexperienced realtor is disgusting. They are not providing her with the true tools she needs to succeed. It's obvious they are hoping for her failure.

Ive been watching HGTV for decades and this "show" was difficult to finish watching. Apparently I'm late watching it looking at the previous review dates. I
I love for women to excel and be successful but being a real estate agent requires alot of knowledge not just personality. So I was a bit disappointed; how could a novice enter into a prestigious real estate agency with no background?! What does it say about agents who have worked hard and sacrificed family to obtain a rewarding place position. It's a reality show in my opinion. Most HGTV television series showcases the homes themselves not home life/lifestyle. Definitely not MDLLA/MDLNY(Selling New York.

I just finished watching the second season, and I can't help but feel sorry for Kendra.
Having watched The Girls Next Door as a teenager and my own interest in real estate, I wanted to give Kendra Sells Hollywood a shot.
As for the show itself, yes it's scripted with some fake drama added as a garnish.. but overall it's light and great for passing time, less than 30-minute episodes. Nothing serious or groundbreaking, your average "reality show".
However, I believe that Kendra is not suited to this profession or a sphere of work.
I have lots of respect for her for trying to build a career and take good care of her children as a single mother but she's just not the right fit for such a stressful profession and there's nothing wrong with it.
Real estate is a tough and harsh business, especially in LA, that only a few can handle and succeed in it.
It's hard to watch in that aspect, through both seasons she looks like a deer in the headlights while people take advantage of her for their 5 minutes of fame.
I don't think she can handle it all mentally, and maybe she would be better suited to something she's really passionate about and in a less stressful environment.

I streamed this show because I remembered Kendra from GND and I was interested to see how this would go. I was honestly expecting Paris Hilton/Nicole Richie shenanigans a la The Simple Life and what I got instead was so much better. Kendra has put in the work, passed the real estate exam, and is serious about starting a new career. She's still funny, charming Kendra, though!
There are moments where she is dished out some corporate BS and she just takes it in stride because she wants to do whatever it takes to succeed. There are moments that are super wholesome that will tug at your heart. And then she farts in front of her new coworkers. It's just a wild ride. She is so relatable as a professional woman. I see her learning the same tough lessons I learned at the beginning of my career.

Kendra is cute I do miss the documentary style of filming. Does anyone notice how long and gorgeous her hair is! You can definitely tell a lot of it was scripted I was hoping to learn more about real estate from a beginners point of view. They really expected her to give a proper walk through wo any coaching. Yeah right. Her kids are amazing as well more mommy and kid time! Let's wake up w Kendra again and watch her get her kids ready for school. Lol. I enjoy Kendra in her natural habit but it would be cool to see her actually taught about real estate showings, selling etc. They should have given her business cards day one if they really wanted a sale. She's a hustler I know she's capable! Regardless Go Kendra! Always rooting for females/anyone making a living for themselves. She deserves the best sharing your life is not easy. Now only if we could pretty pls get the GND to do a therapy session so they understand each other's stories better because we all miss them together. A girl can only dream!

We're about the same age so I can relate to her with something's like not caring to makes friends at work, it's not a popularity contest in life anymore. We're old enough to not care what others think about us. Also finding a career you decided you actually want to do later on in life because that's where you're at at the time and/or you're passionate about now. I'm proud of her for her accomplishments with becoming a relator and making a name for herself. She's fun, compassionate, loving and serious about her work. I respect her authenticity and using her strengths with tv and being a realtor. Been watching her since she's been on tv. She's inspiring! Go Kendra!
