Fantastic Film!
tatianampeixoto30 May 2023
This film was a heartfelt and authentic short film that showcases the struggles faced in coming out. It features exceptional acting and character development to create an emotional storyline. The story is incredibly well-written and explores an important topic in our society today. Overall, I would recommend this film to everyone as it promotes such an important message. Additionally, I think this film would make an amazing educational tool within the classroom to address the topic of coming out in a way that would captivate the student's attention. This film is incredibly well done and does a fantastic job of raising awareness. It definitely deserves 10 stars.

Wow! A must see for parents everywhere

Warning: Spoilers
What a powerful film! Every parent of a teenager should watch this film, especially those parents who feel their child may be part of the LGBTQ+ community. Also, for any teenager watching this film who is struggling with coming out the closet to their loved ones, this film delivers a strong message, of empowerment and acceptance.

As I was watching this film, I empathized with the characters struggling to not only accept the reality of the situation but also to express the deepest sense of love. True acceptance grows in the heart. If you ever know someone who is struggling with their sexual identity, and/or orientation, this film can provide a solid icebreaker for them and their family/friends.

So authentic!

This short film felt so authentic to me. The main actor, who played Tony, really was able to express her emotions. You can see how she feels through her eyes. The whole cast is very talented. They really know how to show raw emotion, especially when Tony and her dad were talking. This film shows how coming out to your parents or anyone in general can be really difficult and you may not get a reaction that you want. Our society, especially the younger generation, tend to go through this a lot. It shows character development and how people can change and be accepting. Even a little bit of positivity goes a long way. I recommend watching this film and checking out the other F. L. O. W projects!

Tears of joy

This! This healed a part of me it was so relatable and real and I did end up tearing up towards the end. Coming out can be so scary for this who aren't in the situation of being openly and immediately accepted and its not talk about enough. However this , the dads remarks and his hesitance was very much real! A child seeing their parent not accept them for them can be so heartbreaking and it should In her body language that she was acting out for that attention. It was subtle, the message of the story but that's what made it so good even if it was not thrown in your face. Easily a 10/10 film loved it!

The F.L.O.W project continues to make great films

Warning: Spoilers
I have watched all the The F. L. O. W projects films and I must say they keep on converting important topics that must be discussed more TO ALL AGES. When our society and community around us are still judging people on whether they love males or females...does it matter? Love is love.

This is a great film about a daughter coming out to her father. Throughout history we have mistreated many people based on their beliefs and I hope that we find more peace to accept others.

This short film was shot nicely, great use of your actors. This can be used as an educational film or just a stand alone project. It's well made and I enjoyed it.

Important work
amoreno-117 June 2023
It's refreshing to see a film from the perspective of a father. I'm glad the writers chose this. Great performance from Ms. Alva as the distraught daughter. I'm not a Spanish speaker, but I am going to check out the Spanish version. It's a cool idea to produce films in different languages. To reach a larger audience this way is clever and I'm one who struggles with subtitles, so this was a great move by this production company. Maybe the producers can add their website on here, so we can view other films. This films brings lots of hope to kids coming out...Really well made film. Kudos for producing this.

Nice work!

Warning: Spoilers
It is important to create a link of communication with your loved ones. It is even better to recognise when assistance is needed. The short film makes you analyse, and create a possible conclusion that mental help is needed in this sort of situations, thus you do not dismiss the feelings of your loved ones.

The acting makes the stress of the situation very palpable. The short film does show the importance of just being there for your kids, and although you may too, feel the loss of your significant other, your kid will feel that even more since their notion of things are not as complex as an adult.
