Wow, where do I begin. I found this series to be so refreshing, honest, painful, funny intense and more than anything authentic. The music and rap element just act as a way to convey the emotion of a scene on a different manner to normal dialogue and tbh I appreciated it. I feel that most people don't realise that the opening line to Jungle rings true, "this isn't just a story" well not for some people I believe. It touches on real issues and a emotions faced by a certain demographic, and even though there is an alternate take on reality as we know it (with .the cars and the referencing to a new drug called Gold dust) that doesn't take away from the real gate hitting issues that this series tackles. Ultimately this show is targeted at a certain audience, and brings home a strong message, a message of Change. Brilliant show.
