A nice humble ending to a fun mindless series

I'm not sure what people were expecting when watching this series? Is the show stupid? Yes. Is it silly and far fetched? Yes. But that's the point!

In this day and age with the world on fire it's nice to just toss on a silly comedy and have some laughs.

I personally am sad the show has ended and will miss Jamal, Ruby, Cesar, Jasmine, Monse, and all the other characters whose actors are perfect fits for the role.

It was a very nice ending to the wild series and I am happy I gave this show a chance and followed it through the seasons.

OK I love On my Block was great to see the team back. Jamal took the lead for this whole season and gave us some absolute great laughs, great toilet humour too lol its pilot started off great, but the show wavered a bit for me. 1 I don't think spooky should've died, he wouldn't have been so stupid to walk out on front of that house or even go there after a drive by. All to predictable plus wasn't keen how cesar had basically tried to emulate spookys old persona. Also I don't think he'd have been that cold over Monse in the end, Also deducting a point for having Jamal wearing a BLM t shirt in 1 the episodes that racist fascist nonsense isn't appreciated. On plus side we get to meet lil Ricky, the gnomies are back lol the final new gnomie is fab & honestly loved Monses new attitude on her return, really liked her. Over all good start think the ending though fine could've been happier/better. But still enjoyed watching it and sad to see the end. I honestly worried if a 4 season might be a disaster and should've been left at 3 but realized my love for the characters only makes me wish we'd got maybe another 2 seasons out of it. Thanks for a great 4 years of entertainment.

First, On My Block is another one of my guilty pleasure shows. I don't have to watch it, but if there is a new season, I WILL WATCH, because the characters are funny and diverse. I love Jamal wearing the BLM shirt. The one thing I've always liked about the show is the diversity of the cast. I like how the writers are woke enough to know that BLM isn't a dig against other races, it is saying with so many blacks being murdered by cops, that their lives matters also. Kudos to the writers.

The one gripe that I have about the last two seasons of the show is, too much teen sex. I know the actors are much older than their roles, but these teens are having sex with the parents in the next room. Where do they do that at? I mean teens SNEAK around and have sex usually without the parents being aware. In the case of the teens on the show, not only are the parents aware of the sex in their room, but encourages it. Weird and not really realistic. Also, Cesar was not very nice to Monse final episode. It is obvious that she was the love of his life, so their open ended ending was something that I didn't like and also, is Monse pregnant? They sure have sex at the drop of a dime with these teens, so a pregnancy would be totally realistic to happen with one of the female characters.

In the end, I enjoyed this little teeny show and I liked all of the actors and I hope to see them in the future.
