Phenomenal Concert
courtneyjonas-572-25488915 November 2021
What a concert. All of my favorite songs, plus some I hadn't heard in so long. It reminded me what it was like to go to a concert again. You could feel the energy from the band and audience. The colors. Lights. All of it was enough to make me buy tickets for an upcoming concert.

There are some reviews commenting about the "postering of the band." I watched this on repeat, throughout the day and didn't hear a single thing other than "Thank you for having us here. We're so glad to be back on tour and in America. Thank you for building this arena. Thank you to the fans." There is one song about a tyrant and "would-be king" that is honestly fantastic. They should write more rock songs.

You can choose to interpret things whatever way helps your narrative and makes you feel better. Also if you don't like something or a band, why are you trolling and commenting?

If you're a fan you will love this. They will remain a world class performers and musicians who continues to put out inspiring and beautiful music.

Greenwashing by private jet flying, heated pool using hypocrites
random-7077812 November 2021
I mean WOW, the posturing and lecturing by these guys is over the top. Planting some trees, which millionaires like Coldplay's band members can afford to do to "offset" their Godzilla sized carbon footprints, while lecturing working class people, is just so over the top hypocrisy. It is scummy. So to is being driven around regularly in gigantic SUV limousines, but using an electric bus for the phot-ops like many entertainers do.

Oh and the band having security guards from a company that does armed security --while Chris Martin vociferously advocates defunding US police is also kind of funny.

And that "Climate Pledge Arena" that is the venue is the ultimate bogus Greenwashing nonsense. They built it without a parking lot and found they had to make an app for channeling people to private parking lots because virtually everyone drives there. There are worse traffic jams than ever around that site.

The music is ok if you like old white guys doing a nostalgia tour. And want to support a Brit who blathers about US and UK problems with covid when the Germans now have more per capita deaths.

Wonderful

Amazing show, the live through Amazon was incredible as well, almost as it was pre-recorded! On top of it a band of their size pledging to take environmental friendly actions deserves nothing but praise, of course it won't be perfect, but it's not like our technology have advanced enough to have zero carbon at everything. If it they really manage to cut emissions by half of AHFOD Tour like they said, it will 100% make an impact in the live music industry.

What is the carbon footprint ?
calmirio15 November 2021
What is the carbon footprint for this event? Numbers please.

Just because took place at Climate Pledge Arena, means is a green event. It should be kept OUTSIDE at 10 am to save on electricity, even if is from renewable. One more thing what they are doing is call light pollution!
