As the Doctor is confronting the new Daleks aboard their ship, Amy, Churchill and Bracewell are observing by means of Bracewell's video device. On the video screen, the Doctor is standing so close to the Dalek that he is almost touching it, but in the scenes shot aboard the ship, he is standing several feet away.
Churchill receives a notice that a flight of Stuka bombers are headed their way. Stukas were short-range dive-bombers, and because of their limited fuel capacity, were withdrawn from use against the UK before the Blitz.
When Amy and Churchill watch the Tardis dematerialise, the "wind" generated blows Amy's hair, however smoke from Churchill's cigar drifts forward unaffected.
The Spitfires attacking the Dalek ship are the Mk IX version with twin radiators and mixed cannon/machine gun armament, which did not enter service until 1942. Though these particular Spitfires are fitted with type E wings, which did not come until early 1944 - Spitfires used at the time of the Blitz in 1940/41 were Mark I/II versions, with a single radiator under the starboard wing and a narrow oil cooler under the port wing, together with full machine gun armament.
When a member of the military personnel calls on the spitfires in space attack, he yells into the earpiece of the radio communicator. He tries to correct this by switching to the mouthpiece, but ends up staying with the earpiece.
