Fresh off of Men of a Certain Age‘s brutal axing, Ray Romano has landed a guest spot on ABC’s The Middle, which of course stars his Everybody Loves Raymond wife, Patricia Heaton.
Romano will reunite with Heaton on the ABC sitcom’s third season premiere (airing Sept. 21), TV Guide Magazine reports. He’ll play a fella from Frankie’s past who just might be the person responsible for ruining her years-ago honeymoon with Mike (played by Neil Flynn). The only thing that would make this scenario sweeter is if Raymond mom-turned-Middle guest Doris Roberts resurfaces as Brick’s teacher in the same episode.

Steven Spielberg is splitting his representation, tapping William Morris Endeavor to rep him on the TV side, primarily through his DreamWorks Television, which had been at CAA for the past couple of years.
Spielberg, one of CAA's signature clients, has a decades-long history there and remains a client of the agency on the feature side.
The internal Wme memo announcing the signing Friday noted that the agency will represent all of Spielberg's entities in television.
While series projects normally go through DreamWorks TV, Spielberg executive produced HBO's big-budget World War II mini-series "The Pacific" and its predecessor "Band of Brothers" through the mothership DreamWorks company, which is listed as a co-producer alongside Tom Hanks' Playtone.
Spielberg's Amblin banner, which continues to be active in features, has been relatively dormant in television where it most recently co-produced NBC's long-running medical drama "ER."
After an early focus in broadcast television with “Spin City,...
