This third episode (and last) is like the third episode, The Secret, of the original Tiger King, the kind of pseudo investigatory "was it murder?" thing about Carol but now Doc is the new Carol...
This is hilarious, but, actually, despite the bad reviews for this Doc Doc, it is far more interesting than the first three episodes of Tiger King 2...
Here's the bottom line: This entire 3-episode Doc Doc should have been the opening episodes of Tiger King 2 followed by the Tim Stark Raving Mad/Jeff Lowe hitting rock bottom final two episodes (which were the only good episodes of Tiger King 2)...
If they did that... or if they simply made two episodes of Doc (you can easily edit this down to two episodes); one of Carol; and then the same two episodes of Stark and Lowe having breakdowns and losing everything, than Tiger King 2 would have been great... (The whole Carol thing was milking a dead horse... or tiger)...
But like Disney's doing with Marvel and Star Wars, Netflix is cutting apart this franchise into too many pieces...
Some things about the entire series: Doc's first wife, the first ex, as it were... it's heartbreaking... she talks like Keith Richards and they have to have subtitles for her, and she's speaking English (Steven Spielberg didn't even use subtitles for West Side Story for Spanish-speaking characters)...
His second wife had too much work done, and it's a shame because, like her mother, she'd have still be beautiful without all that...
Third and final... Netflix should have shown more about the movies that Doc was hired for... Put some big Hollywood types under the gun of hiring a guy who, it turns out, is... who we're learning he is, but...
Hey... Netflix IS Hollywood, and folks, before MeToo, Hollywood worshiped and awarded the likes of Roman Polanski, and they'd have done the same with Doc...
